Use the available space deliberately
Measure around folds, seals and curved edges. A square or rounded-corner sticker can fit a regular space cleanly; a narrow rectangle may suit a longer brand name. Try a paper outline on the real package before selecting dimensions.
Prioritize the logo or one short line of text. If the design also needs a web address or QR code, verify that both remain readable or scannable at the printed size instead of shrinking everything together.
Check type, contrast and versions
View the design at 100% of the finished dimensions and from a normal viewing distance. Thin letters, light ink on a light box and a thick border can all reduce legibility.
If different products need different names or ingredients, separate the artwork versions and confirm the quantity for each. Read the full proof before approval, especially spelling and the selected width and height.
