Make a small sticker readable at its finished size
Keep the important details, reduce the clutter
A compact logo or short line of text often needs less space than a full illustration with a slogan, address and border. Decide which details matter most instead of shrinking every element together. Increase contrast between lettering and its background, and leave room between nearby shapes.
Check the dimensions currently available for your selected product. The minimum size depends on the product and the design; a small option in the builder does not mean every detailed file will be readable at that size. Ask the design team about lettering or cut details that look crowded.
Use a paper test and the original file
Make a paper outline at the selected width and height and hold it against the application area. If you print the design for a fit check, turn off automatic page scaling and verify the result with a ruler. Inspect the smallest text from a normal viewing distance.
Use original artwork rather than a screenshot. Vector artwork can preserve defined shapes as it scales; raster artwork needs enough pixels for the chosen size. Your proof lets you check the outline and layout, but a screen that enlarges the preview cannot substitute for an actual-size test.
- Check the smallest text, counters inside letters and spaces between elements.
- Confirm that the border does not consume the space the design needs.
- Review the selected dimensions and artwork version before approving.
